Finally collected transmission components from Mike Papworth as follows:
1. Gearbox : A new gearbox has been built for me with heavy duty components (to take the load of the 2.5 Ltr engine) in a Canley Classics lightweight alloy casing (saving 3.5 kg).
2. Overdrive : The gearbox was mated to a rebuilt J type Laycock De Normanville overdrive.
3. The 3.27 : 1 Differential already had a newish CWP and heavy duty carrier (fitted by Tony Lindsey-Dean). Mike rebuilt the unit with all new Timken bearings.
4. The Rotoflex rear suspension was completely rebuilt with NOS genuine Metalastik couplings, new Timken bearings correctly shimmed, and polyurethane bushes.
5. Mike also supplied me with a new Propshaft and a good used clutch fork (the original was cracked).
