Took the TR4 to Dobson NC this past weekend. Was very pleased with it's operation. Two hundred thirty British cars at Shelton Vineyards. Had a great time. Triumph Club of Carolina hosted it.
Daughter came home for Christmas so we had to take the TR out for it's first run. Did about 8 miles and it ran great. Drove like it's supposed to. Forty degrees with the windows down.

This car came off E=Bay in Oct. 2015. Typical rust everywhere, floor pans fender tops and bottoms but the best part was some unintelligent individual cut the front cross member out. Frame rails were twisting leaving the wheels 4 inches wider at the bottom than the top. Different frame and new front suspension, sand blasted and painted and all is well. On to the fenders and floor pans. Much work for a 73 year old but it's all done except floats that want to float whenever. Putting on new rotors, calipers tomorrow. Old calipers decided to just start dripping without touching the brake pedal for months.Have used your site constantly since I got the tr. Thanks.

Good for you Keith. Don't let that age think worry you, that thinking what we are going to get into the next day keeps us on the green side of the dirt. Lots of us in late seventies and going strong.Where are the pictures?

Thanks Wayne, I bought my first TR 3A in 64, my Bugeye in 69 (still have) and my first 3000 in 70. Always wanted a TR4. Rotors and calipers on today. Not sure how to post pictures yet. Have hundreds.
