So I have always used plain phillips screws with the collar to attach vinyl panels. Moss now sells black ones. My interior is black. Did the factory use stainless screws, or did they use black ones? I have never minded the screws showing, but the black ones could give a nice smooth look. Does anyone have experiance with these?

Jeff, My TR6 is black, and the interior is called new tan, kind of a maple color.
I used the black screws with the trim washer to attach the rear gas tank panel. I also used them to attach the wood dash.
So, I like the look, and I think the black would look great (better than stainless) with your black interior.

You can buy a bag of black or stainless #8 oval-head phillips screws on eBay for a lot less than Moss. Ditto trim washers.

I found the cup-style washers here:

I’ve replaced all of the paneling in my 71 TR6. I used stainless steel screws and cup washers but painted them black myself. Works great. They don’t chip or peel.

I used metal black ones on my brown interior panels and I like it better. It makes the screws and rings less obvious which is the look I'm going for.

It's all about minimizing contrast - I used the stainless pieces on my Biscuit interior and black with my black carpet. Good prices on both on eBay.
