Registry: 1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500

I made the mistake of buying the first spitfire I have ever seen for $3,350. so my first two years of ownership have consisted of me driving the car until it stops running and dealing with whatever issues pop up so far I have re-built the carb, new fuel pump, ignition coil, distributor, new tires, new shocks, rear brakes side note (were non existent for the first 3000 miles I put on the car the shoes split into pieces when I took the drums off for the first time), I also put a Monza exhaust on the car. my spitfire was pretty cheaply resprayed and had some questionable body work done to it so its going to rust out eventually. I think after a few more years of fixing the car so its not the rolling death trap it currently is ill probably end up engine swapping it because why not most likely just going to put a better 4 cylinder in but i'm very interested in putting a rotary in.
