  • Trailering back from SF my first day owning the vehicle. Got caught in a snowstorm in the Columbia River Gorge. Long drive.

According to seller in bay area, the car was dormant for approx. 20 years. He acquired it at an estate sale.

The vehicle had about 60k miles on it, bent push rods, and all original parts. I'm currently restoring the engine back to working condition before I make any decisions about further restoration. The motor was seized--I think the seller tried to start it without really working the motor free and bent the push rods, since there were no other indicators that the valves had been floated, although the bent rods are the most likely reason the car was garaged. The previous owner was probably a professor at Berkeley based on scant information from the seller and the Cal stickers everywhere.

My first car was a 1984 Ford LTD--I got a taste of owning a classic. This is my first project car. Every day is a learning experience.
