“Orange Beast #1 (OB-1)”
1972 Spitfire MkIV, purchased from second owner. Had been stored in a garage from fall 1985 until fall 2011 when I bought it. All complete, and engine ran, but could not be driven. I performed a body-off restoration on this car which was completed in December 2013. Almost everything is new, nearly new, or restored except for the original AM/FM radio, seats, and original miles on the odometer. New floors and rockers; new wings (fenders) for the bonnet (hood), new top, new tires, new brakes, new master cylinders (brake/clutch/wheel), new brake lines, new fuel line, new fuel sensor, new carpet, new primer, new paint, new shocks, etc., etc. Car runs great and is so much fun to drive. I restored it nearly to stock except for a few alterations: chrome hubcaps, electronic ignition, and metallic sunburst orange paint, gas-props for hood. Unfortunately, the hobby hit me bad and I have another Triumph restoration I'm working on in the barn so this car needs to go. Spring is here, time for you to have that classic sports car to enjoy it with. Note: I have over $9000 invested and will take a loss; the posted price is negotiable. The car has a clean title and has been featured at the Dayton British Car day a few times.
