“Green Dragon”
This first-year TR6 was purchased used by my next door neighbor around 1980. It was driven all year in Cleveland so it was rusty but complete when my neighbor bought it. It also drove well. My neighbor was retired and realizing he would not be able to devote the time and money to complete the car he sold it to a good friend of mine. It was 1984. The price was $1. My friend invested his time, energy and considerable money into the car and ended up restoring the car back to original condition. Regrettably he passed away not long after the car was completed. I obtained the car from his estate where it resides with my other TR6 and my TR4.
