There is a nice article on the TR5 PI in Classic Motorsports this month. It is definitely worth reading. The editor also drives a Group 44 GT6.

Makes it worth the $19 a year...

1967 Triumph TR4A "Lil Blue"
1972 Triumph TR6 "Lil Red"
Tim also has a TR6 and races a TR3. If you look far enough back you can see the work that they have done to the 6 since buying it. There have been many articles (one lately) comparing the 6, MGB and Alfa, the last one was subjective and the Alfa won.
