When this car was bought for cheap in late 2010, it was a complete wreck. It had not been titled since 1997. Throughout the following months it was torn down to an empty shell and all the rust removed. The car was fitted with a modern fuel injected engine, Dodge/Mitsu 420A DOHC from an Avenger/Neon, a Jeep 5 speed transmission, and a Ford 7.5" rearend. The brakes (4-wheel disc), suspension, and fuel system was also completely redone and updated. The car was debadged, dechromed, and resprayed with Ford Dark Shadow Grey Metallic color. New seats and carpet were fitted along with a new top and a lot of other goodies. As it sits the car has over 5k miles on the restoration and is driven almost every day.

Thanks I think the color has a lot to do with it. I also think the shaving the bumpers, side lights, and chrome trim makes it look newer or maybe older than it is. Not to mention the single tone paint and the chrome grille.

Agree. Camera angle up at the car helps too. It looks sweet!

what setup for rear discs? presently starting build of MGA with Ford 8" rear end. Going 4 link and would like a disc set up like you show.
What am I looking at? thanks for info.

Ford 7.5" from a Mustang. Narrowed with shortened axels by Ft. Worth Gear and Axel in Texas.
