Before we order, I just had to ask. The kits all say, " Single master cylinder " or " Dual master cylinder " or nothing. If we have a MC that has two lines exiting it, that IS what they mean, right ? Even if our car had the single chamber one, I would swap it out for a two chamber one. Better to have half your brakes, than NONE, should something leak.

Where are you looking for your brake line kit?

Is the braking system on your car stock for that year?

During my rebuild I ordered a kit from Automec, the lines were speced for my car, were Copper/Nickle** and all the lines and fittings fitted exactly.

Copper/Nickle is resisstant to rust and much easier to bend to shape than steel lines.

Tony.,

I learned that last year, from the folks in the forum. Spitbits has the copper/nickel kits too, as well as the braided lines for the short runs to the brakes.

Indeed, two lines is dual.

Joe, it's so nice to see a correct brake master cylinder on an early Spitfire! thumbs up

Unfortunately (for correctness), that is the before photo. The dual circuit master cylinder is not in place as well as GT6 calipers.
