Hello,

When i was showing my TR6 at the Cincinnati British car club show a few years ago, my wife saw TR3s for the first time. She fell in love with them. So yesterday, she got one.

It's a 1959, registered as a 1960. The car was frame off restored and finished in 2002. The previous owner loved the car and drove it to the Roadster Factory Summer party several times.

Today she drove it for the first time and the smile on her face was ear to ear.

Here a few pics.

Oh yeah. Forgot to say. It has overdrive and a TSI camshaft. Compression is more than 9.5:1. PO doesn't remember the exact amount but said to use premium fuel. It runs great and true.

Only thing I want to improve on is the bonnet vibrations at low engine speeds.

Awesome Aaron, they are fun cars! Yeah, they have a few rattles in the bonnet that can be solved. Maybe post a new thread to open up a discussion on it.

Cheers

Will you marry me too?
Now I realize that's big of me and big of you too. But lets be big for a change.
Make mine a 1955 TR2, any color but Geranium, and in the same condition with same options.
All the best to you and yours.
Joel
PS THANKS Groucho!

Certainly looks like a nice car - congratulations! I am currently building my '57 and am just north of Cincy. Would be happy to help sort out the bonnet with you. Feel free to reach out any time - it would be good to connect with more TR people in this area!
