Would anyone know if the 62-TR3A (same year/make of guages) needle bearing/drag wheel on the tach can be used a donor for on a speedometer? Both tach and speedo seem to be identical mechanical design.

I suspect they are. I know they indicate the same needle deflection at the same input rpm...at least for the standard 3:70 gears. The casing is identical, but I have not checked to see if the drillings were made in the tach casing to accept the odometer mechanism.

Thanks! That will be a great relief in only having to get one rebuilt. As far as I can tell side by side comparison they are identical.
