Hi - I'm trying to find the little plastic bit that goes on the end of the secondary piston in a older style tandem brake master cylinder for a 75 Spitfire. Any help would be much appreciated! Mine got launched into oblivion during a clumsy rebuild. Doesn't seem to be something I can get through my usual online parts suppliers.
Thanks!
Murray

Can you post a photo. I have a Master Cylinder from a 1975 in my storage unit and can take a look. I actually have an entire 1975 Spitfire that I use for parts so if you need something unusual and unobtainable I may have it.

Murray, If you are looking for the plastic bit on the end, get the size. Most were the same, but not all cylinders were the same in the back, so measure that metal piece the bell clip goes on, that would be the same size..

The part is labelled #13 (valve spacer) on the attached diagram. My MC bore is 3/4".

The size of the piece you want is really 15, don't recall ever seeing one 3/4 inch.
Let see if someone close to you pipes in, if not I will get you one, pretty standard stuff, in even the early masters.
