Mine is from a 1972- black trim ring. I don’t have a pic of the whole unit readily available, but here is one of the face.

Tyler, The one I have that is your year is just bouncing with a drill in reverse. So until I can get time to tear into it, I'm going to direct you to Marvin, he should have one. I will get to mine over the winter, just have other pressing things to finish first.
Thanks for waiting.

Looking around for the UreVco kit - looks like they aren't sold anymore. Are there other electronic conversion mods around, in cast no good mechanical tach's show up?

Tyler,

My 74 doesn't look like a 72 tach- https://goo.gl/images/A33Dsg

By the way, how did you get yours apart? My speedo and one othe gauge have dust/ debris in them and I want to clean the glass inside also.

Thanks,
Perry

Yep, looks like they (74s) look more like one out of a spitfire,

Mine came apart pretty easy... just unscrewed the thumb screws behind the dash, and pulled it out, once I disconnected the various lightbulbs etc that is!

Once it’s in your hand you just unscrew the glass from the body - not sure what direction I turned but it’s evident by the little tabs on the body and the rim which way to twist. Easy!
