The seats and door panels came from the Wedge Shop

Everyone seems to be posting pictures of really clean cars. My favorite is a very dirty car! Glad to see y'all keeping the marque alive... Cheers, Ken

It will be a few more days (?) before I take the TeeR8 for a spin.

Sold this car in 2009 after it was featured on the book cover. Bought it back in December 2017 after it had been updated with a built 3.9, wilwoods, lowered, and TSI sway bars

I have that book, very nice looking TR 8, yours is only the second one I have seen in red. It must be a blast to drive. We need some update photos. I wish I could build up my 3.5, but here in the land of over regulations ( California). I can't d1o much of any thing!

Thanks Ron, I haven't driven it since I bought it in December, it went into storage right away (Canada). It currently has MGF wheels on it but I will change it back to the Revolutions that it had with the book. I have a set on my coupe.

Paul,

That red TR8 looks great on the book cover as well as, sadly, surrounded by snow; you must be pleased to buy it back.
We are also surrounded by a lot of snow and it appears that Spring might be delayed a few weeks!

I agree that the original set of Revolution wheels would look good, certainly my preferred choice for TR8's.
Just curious, are the original Revolution wheels 13" or 15"?

Will you post additional photos of the interior and engine compartment when the snow melts?

Revolutions are 15 inch. Car needs a clean up. Have new seat covers, it already has the new door panels and carpet. Engine area needs cleaning. Have Edelbrock valve covers and a few other items. Will eventually look like my coupe which is almost done.

Paul,

Beautiful engine compartment. I will pin that photo in my shop as inspiration to detail my TR8!
Which carb are you running on this one?
I notice you do not have a Fresh Air Plenum; are you using a different system to pull fresh air or are you pulling air from the engine compartment into the heater/ac system?

Edelbrock on the coupe. I have the air connector from Woody but think I will go with the original air plenum bent to fit like this
