I bought my carpet kit fron S&S preparations in England. It was also multiple pieces but I had it professionally installed and it looks as good as new.

It is snowing in Calgary on this morning of April 16, 2018.

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day and I woke-up the MGB GT from its hibernation, removed the car cover, primed the carbs and it started on the first attempt. It is now in the garage for some preparation for the driving season and my daily driver outside, in the snow!

The TR8 is still hibernating until more snow melts away.

Tearing out the old exhaust getting ready for the SS exhaust. Only snapped one stud off the exhaust manifold. Bolts holding the manifolds on were barely more than finger tight and the locking tabs were not closed. I suspect headers were removed to sell. I also removed and inspected the transmission mount. looked fine to me but I am not sure what a bad one looks or feels like.

Decided to freshen up the paint on my boot lid, which clearly requires taking off the decals...spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

My daughter and I had a good chuckle over that. You can get them off with a heat gun.

Larry, I wore this shirt to work before the election and somebody wanted to turn me in under the hatch act !! I had to make her read it four times and then explain what a Triumph was before she calmed down, Jim

Yes, our "reading skills" have surely deteriorated! I get a lot of heat for my political sympathies every time I wear my Triumph t-shirts! A statement on our "educational system". Keep the line moving, pass them onto the next grade!

I got one just like it for Christmas from my daughter who watches F1 racing with on Sundays. She's a big Hamilton fan.
