TR250 with TR6 wiper motor

I have a TR250 with a questionable past. It has a TR6 wiper motor installed instead of the original. My problem is the wiper arm travel is way too long; the blades run off the windscreen and hit each other. I currently run just the drivers side blade. Does anyone know if the travel can be adjusted? Will TR6 wheel boxes solve the issue?

All advice is appreciated.

The wheel boxes on the 250s are slightly different, however I don't think the throw on the motors would be enough to do what you describe.
Changing those wheel boxes is not for the faint of heart! I would look around for a TR4 wiper motor first, the 2 speed 250 motors are like hens teeth.
The TR4 motor will work and will look correct although I think only a single speed.

good luck
Shawn
