Hi Everyone,

My 2500 engine should be getting back from the machine shop this weekend and I can't wait to get it in the spitfire! As the engine is completely stripped, I thought id be a good time to change the cam if I was ever going to do it. As i've never done this before, I have no idea what cam I should be looking for - My first thought was the TR6 cam, would this be any good? I wan't a good road cam with plenty of low down torque, I won't be revving the bollocks off the engine so im not too fussed about the top end of the rev range.

Any suggestions? Should I just stick with the stock cam, or would the TR6 cam / other give a improved performance. The engine will run on twin SU carbs (Not PI - Until I can get my hands on it anyway...)
