Looking for assistance,have taken off brake master cylinder cleaned it up ,stripped the spring and piston out of it , can anyone help in the way of ,how do I separate the spring and piston to replace seals,thanks

Look at part number 11 (thimble) in the accompanying picture. That has a little tang on it that needs to be carefully pried outwards to release the assembly. Have a good grip on it, lest bits fly everywhere!
