I have a question Why when I order multiple items, am I not able to get them From 1 or 2 warehouses to reduce shipping? Even when I change to a different part to try to match warehouses, the other parts also change warehouses to again make orders come from multiple warehouses. Why do they change to different ones when they would have matched if they stayed as they were? This has happened every time I have ordered from Rock. Has anyone else noticed this?

I just ordered from Rock Auto today. I changed the source of two of the parts and the original part stayed put. Saved nearly $10. on shipping.

Thank you for your question. If you use the truck icons after you have selected your first part you will find the reducing of warehouses to be an easy process. Sometimes it is just not possible to ship from just one location as we cannot stock all of the parts in one location. Our system is set up to find the parts at the lowest price closest to your location. It is possible that as you change parts the warehouses could update in an attempt to find the parts from a closer location.

I just ordered 6 parts today and the same thing happened. 5 different warehouses were shown. When I deleted a part to reduce shipping locations, other warehouses would change, and still make it multiple warehouses. I ended up permanently deleting 2 items to get the warehouses down to 4. I see no reason why a part that was in warehouse A moves to warehouse C when I change a completely different part. It just seems to me to be a way to keep shipping high. Your prices are generally good, but I do not like the shipping arrangement!
