Stupid question, but I've gone through all my manuals, and searched this site, but I can't determine if the overdrive unit gets it's oil from the gearbox at refill time? I can't find a filler plug on it, but there is a drain plug, and my tiny brain is hurting :-(

sorry guys.

The OD shares the same oil.
I have a J-type and every time I've drained and refilled the gearbox to the full level, I've found that after a short drive using the OD, there is room for a little more oil.
Could be that just filling an empty case doesn't get oil into the entire OD. That seems to require circulation.
