Hey all,

Just wondering if a Euro spec head will fit on a US spec car, has anyone tried? surely the stud patterns are the same, and should give that little extra CR

Cheers

You can just have any old head milled down to increase your compression ratio! Just make sure that it matches your intake runners because there are 2 different intake port configurations.

I have a 73 TR6 and I swapped the head for a CR 125hp British spec head with 9.5:1 compression. The numbers on the side of the head are V3298 313248 26 21915. I also had to swap out the pushrods for the shorter versions since the U.S. spec ones are too long.
