ps Yes, Herman is an amazing guy--hope to drive the TR to CA someday and meet him.

By now many people in the TR crowd know that Herman has passed away. Very sad. Apparently from pneumonia. He was 82. Helena said she would let me know if and when there is any more information to be passed along as to services for him.


Last week I talked to Helena. She said Herman wanted no fuss made in regards to a funeral. In short...none. He will be cremated and ashes thrown to his favorite place on the planet, the ocean.
There may be a wake of some sorts by mid summer, when emotions subside a bit.

Doug, I think something like the "HVDA 5 Speed" decal, mounted just below the TRIUMPH logo on he rear panel--small, classy-looking, and significant to Those Who Know, and a conversation starter for those who don't.
