Here’s a version of it - in the flesh. Not photoshop - well executed. I don’t have any info on the car, just grabbed the pic somewhere. I’ve seen much worse things done to Triumphs. (The Shooting Brake comes instantly to mind).

I kind of like the idea of it. Though I think the MKII GT6 top on a TR4A/250 Michelotti body is the ideal combination of lines. There’s a fellow on FB or Sixpack that’s working on one of those - still in rough body work stage - but it has potential. I certainly don’t see anything wrong with it - though I would hope anyone would start with a couple of cars that might otherwise not be saved.

For the TR6 I really like the factory steel top. I dont think that can be improved on much. Just compliments the design of car about as well as anything I’ve ever seen like that - from any manufacturer - even including much more modern cars.
