I wanted to give a shout out to Ralph Hanson in Illinois for his help the past few months. He has mailed me parts (Atlanta) ASAP for my Spit6 project and even went above and beyond helping me with a GT6 bonnet. Ralph found a Craigslist ad for a GT6 bonnet when he heard I was in the market for one. I wired him the money and he proceeded to pick it up and hold it until I could make the Atl-Chi drive for pickup. He even helped secure it to the roof of my van for the haul back to Atl. He even troubleshhots via phone!
Class act and thanks for everything! thumbs up

I'm guessing it looked something like one of these:

I was so much older then; I'm younger than that now. winking smiley

Seriously, though, I'll second the kudos to Ralph!

Have to agree with you all. I just met Ralph -- by phone. We had a great chat and I ended up with a lot of new ideas for my Spitfire project.

"Mr. Filby, do you think he'll ever return?"
"One cannot choose but wonder. You see . . . he has all the time in the world!"
