With Winter around the corner it was time to get some cars moved.
We are eventually moving house and there is room at the new house (in Wilson NY) for some of my projects. So today, dispite the drizzle/rain we moved the MGB and '59 MGA.
The MGB was easier to load as I could drive it up on the trailer. My oldest son joined us at the house and we got it unloaded. I couldn't resist a quick run down the long driveway and since I was already at the road and there was no one to be seen, I had a quick run down the road too, 40mph and third gear, it felt good . A quick run back up the drive and we put it away in the smaller garage/shop.
My son and I then made the drive back. This time local MGExp member Jeff Strong came by and we got the MGA loaded. Thanks Jeff! Another long haul up and we got the MGA pushed into the larger garage too.
Yesterday while getting the cars ready to move I did some puttering on the Spitfire fuel lines and mentally planned that task. Too much other running around and terrible weather to do much else. I'm going to have to get back into the 'cold garage' work mode .
A good day.
MGB loaded up and ready to go despite the rain and drizzle.
Tucked away in the workshop
MGA loaded up, the weather improved a bit for this leg
Put away in the garage, just enough space to be out of the way
