Recently, I refinished (painted & rebuilt) the brake pedal assembly and the accelerator pedal assembly. I got a new brake light switch (sadly it was not an exact fit but I fabricobbled it together) as well. Just last night I installed the new brake MC and connected it to the pedal. All three pedals are in (although the clutch MC and brake MC are not connected to any plumbing yet!)
I've also started my welding cart build. I'm about 1/2 done - both shelves are built (basically, two rectangles, lol) and the uprights are all measured. Next up in that build: weld the uprights between the shelves.
Last, I started to clean up the driver's side floor. I removed about half the remnants of the previous replacement floor (the part that was tee-welded onto the old floor and glued with seam sealer.)
Next up: install the clutch SC and start some of the hydraulic plumbing.
I also want to do another test-fire, with starter fluid, then possibly with gas. I don't know if the fuel pump or carb rebuilds I did last year are actually functional yet! Soon?
My overall plan looks more and more like a rolling restoration. If I get the driver's floor in, I could mount a temporary seat and get it to move on its own power, but that would require transmission/clutch, brakes and engine all to mostly work. (No idea about the differential.)
Eventually I want to do a full rewire with a universal wiring kit and fuse panel, dumping the Lucas stuff. Not sure when, though.
