Howdy folks, and happy almost spring.

Since I am re-doing my soft this season, I thought it best to do the carpet set, as I will have it all apart anyways.

What are your recommendations for sets? The current one is older, of course, but not original. It feels a bit cheap and thin.

There seems to be a lot of options out there.

Thanks in advance.

Damon

I replaced my carpet in my TR6 at least 10 yrs ago with the TRF set and it still looks like new. Very pleased.

With prices and choice of material all over the place you need to be comfortable with what you are willing to spend.
Good savings can be had during sales, so helps if not in a rush.
Some nylon carpets look a bit shiny to me, although original fitment in later cars, but I went with TRF wool (at a show demo price) and could not be happier. The fit and workmanship is first rate. No skimpy fits like some other big names.
Suppliers will send you samples which may be helpful.

Thanks everyone, great suggestions.

The wool set from TRF looks promising.

I can't seem to find pricing on the skinner site. Any idea how much the set goes for?

There's a quote function on Skinner's site...he's pretty quick on getting back; pricing not published on the site. Here's what I paid about a year ago for my interior pieces (pricing in pounds). I'm about 1/2 way thru installing right now; everything has been top notch and very happy with it.
