Saw new ad on San Francisco Craigslist for surrey top.
Cheap? No. Available? Looks like it's for sale.
Not mine.... know nothing about it!
Just always read how in demand these are.

FYI

If the pictures don't lie it's priced right. These are really costly to restore ( I've done five lids so have the T-shirt ). Rear trim is NLA and terribly difficult to replicate. The lid consists of (5) stampings besides, and the rear frame (4) castings welded together. Not a cinch to make.

For a 50+ year old vintage hardtop kit I think the price has room to grow, and expect it will to double or more in the next 5 years.

I would advise a close inspection before buying, however. Issues abound, and for the aluminum lids the anchor points are usually compromised if not wrecked.

That would be this one, Tush. 11,000 spots ( count'em! ). My backlights have another feature I haven't seen elsewhere yet, expensive is probably why.

This is what happens when you've been in the Michelotti TR corral for 4+ decades...

Cheers,
Tom
