Hi folks
I am desperately searching about 2 new knobs for OD and turn signal command.

Do you know if this part is available separately ?
I don't want to change the entire part

Not offered separate that I know of. I Have robbed them off existing switches.

Oliver,
I’ve cleaned and buffed mine, filled cracks and nicks with similar colored epoxy and sanded and buffed again and they come out pretty nice.

In fact, plastic was completely crumbled with sun and years (as all of us winking smiley ) so even painting was impossible. Tried to have a temporary solution with a pair of tyre valve plugs, glued together, but not satisfaying on the long term

Sounds like a job for a 3D printer!

Excellent idea, printing 3D, but the pattern (template ?) is missing for me !

Brian here, I've already printed the turn signal knob and the light high beam / low beam knob for the TR250 TR6 Spitfire and GT6 but I don't know if the TR4 uses the same knob. Anyone know for sure if the knobs are the same?

The turn signal knob is just a bit longer than the high/low beam and a slight difference in design.

I don't usually visit the TR4 forum but just by chance............did.

Holy Smokes, Just saw that Olivier is in France. Cost more to ship a knob there than what the knob would cost.

Brian,
I have a box full of turn signal/light/od switches for TR4s, 4As, and TR6s and they are a variety of lengths with a lot of variances.

Ok, but which one do you think Olivier is needing? His picture looks to me to be like the TR6 turn signal knob. I suppose any knob would be OK but he'd have to make that decision. Look at your TR6 turn signal knob and then your TR4 knob, see much of a difference? On the TR4, are the turn signal knob and the OD knob the same?

Brian,
All of that stuff is at the farm and I’m out of town until late next month.

I printed a few extra's. Printed with Nylon 910 alloy. Nice strong engineering grade nylon.

Still, Olivier is in France. Does this mean I've become an international hobbyist? hot smiley

OK Rut---thanks, we may have to rely on others for some advice. I'll lurk around on this forum for a couple days. Not usually over here.
