new to the forum... currently working on a frame off resto for a 76 TR6 in michigan USA. Looking for a reputable engine builder. not interested in doing it myself, looking for a drop off service. let me know your thoughts.

One of the most gratifying things I have done was rebuilding the engine myself. Give it a try, you'll like it, and you'll learn a lot.

Ted is a good guy.

But while I understand someone not wanting to rebuild an engine themselves, I would emphasise the importance of comunication with your builder and gain an understanding of options and pros and cons.

This will typically occur after an assesment.

There is an old saying 'You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear' often, in trying to do so, you may end up with a very expensive sows ear!
