Not a spitfire video but funny, I'm 6.5 in my bare feet, and this is what I'll have to look forward to when I'm done with my GT6+, I figure if I could do it when I was 18, I can do it now. :~)

OK...will add my FIS6 her as well. (FIS6, pronounced Physics) Fuel Injected Spit 6.
Engine set back (and down) in the chassis 6", no bonnet bulge required

First is Ted Schumacher at the wheel, taking a romp through the country side at Carlisle PA Import show a couple years back


The next is back home in the garaage... a couple of engine shots.

Here's two video's I made of the same drive. One is at normal speed and the second is about 50 % faster. I've sold the Spitfire, we had allot of fun! <3

This is living proof my Mk I Spitfire actually runs!



I bought the car a guy in Nowhere, Wyoming for next to nothing. It had been sitting for 25+ years under a tarp in Co. or Wy. It was missing it's motor. I had a spare 1500 (which I knew nothing about...) so I thought "what The heck!" Got it installed, fire it up and much to my suprise, it had a bad knock. (spun #3 rod bearing) I found a Hearald in Omaha on C/L. Complete car $150, and it came with a NIB top! It runs and moves and even has the proper carb set up. I broke the windshield while reinstalling. Between the glass, sorting out the title and general timing of things, my MK IV moved to the head of the line in projects dept.

This is Tiny Tim at the VTR Autocross a couple of years ago at San Luis Obisbo, CA.

This one contains a video (after the Union Jack Spit) of Tiny Tim at the 2001 VTR autocross, Breckenridge, CO where he set Fast Time of the Day. It was the very last time that the car performed before the Modified 1296 engine was taken out and replaced by the Honda S2000 engine and gearbox. THe 1296 is now in Huxley, the Red Mk1.
