Vent ducts question for the GT6 guys and gals.

I am putting GT6 heat ducts in a Spitfire. However, I do not know where or how the footwell ducts are attached. I’m assuming the assembly with the longer hoses goes to the driver’s side as the dash vent is further away from the heater box than the passenger side. The two close ups of the mounting bracket are two views of the same bracket (both sides are the same but installed in opposite orientation). I can see the speed nut “threads” are on the inside angle of the bracket.

I’m hoping someone can enlighten me on where/how these are attached. Seems the holes for mounting ought to be already drilled if they go to the dash pressing since the Spit and GT6 seem to be identical. I don’t have an assembly manual for the newer GT6 and the old Chilton’s Spitfire/GT6 repair book does not provide details.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much "Old Man". Reckon I need to work on my search skills instead of cluttering the forum with things that have been answered, eh?

Thanks again

@roerbau ...

...no, I'm often stupid...

I checked my parts and I have a left and a right suspension for the Airball next to transmission tunnel.

Currently I am restoring my interior and I will relocate my heating and piping in the next two weeks.

Then I will post appropriate pictures in the forum.

Greeting from the oldman

Hi Guys,

I had the opportunity to get photos of the lead of the heating pipes from a GT6 in original condition.

Unfortunately, the position of the mounting clamps were not always clear.

Here are the promised pictures of the installation in my car.
