Oh damn

Ive been looking for the Gt6 3.27 differential, but im not sure if at that point your Spit6 has one.

though they could have left the Spitfire axles and used a Gt6 diff as far as I know.

Looks like a GT6 MKIII. Later ones did have swing spring rear suspension like the Spitfires did.

if that bonnet was actually from a gt6, wouldn't it have more vents on it?? looks to me like it may have had the power bulge welded on. still good property for someone wanting to make a spit6

I don't think the MKIIIs had top or side vents. But I love the bumper!!

It looks like the hood is original no visible metal work. A few more pics to help clarify what it in the car. 4 is the limit I could load.
I will let the whole thing go for $800.00 if any one is interested.

A real good start for someone wanting to do a Spit6. The person used the Spitfire front end and brakes, so this was not the way to go, but thank for giving someone the opportunity to continue.

forehead slap!! no vents on a gt6 mk3. even better score for a spit6. as for the front end being used(I can't tell actually) if it is spit stuff I wonder how close the engine is to the steering rack. I can't really tell if there are extra shims or what not at the engine mount.

big question though, why is this(or parts) for sale??

No shims on the motor mounts! Rack just clears the oil pan. It is for sale because I bought it for parts on my project car. I don't need another project. My 73 Spitefire and 67 109 land rover Carawagon are all I need for now.

Well if you check the ratio on the diff and its NOT a 4.11, I may be interested
