  • As received. Believe it or not, exactly as described by PO.

Considering age and history, in good restorable condition. Very thick undercoating which is good and bad but in general rust is far less than expected. Floors worthless, battery box rusted through, front fenders behind wheel wells rusted, patch metal bits already bought but the car is straight, minor bump in the back, car is complete, instruments original and complete, hood, doors, trunk, fenders, etc. fit very well. Motor turned over easily but did not start. Attempt was half-hearted, no spark, will make it run as soon as time allows. In general, an.enjoyable project.

Hi, Paul. I see from your page that you're in Germany. I wonder how a TR3 from Mass got to Germany!? I also noticed that you've got a 3A -- is it still at the frame stage as shown or is that the red one visible in the background of your current project? Anyway, thanks for the compliment on my work so far. I don't think I can afford the buck per hour into the piggy bank -- I'll need that money for the restoration!

Hi Mike, I'm an American, living here for years. The TR3A I bought on-line from a guy in Missouri. It was total junk, to include a bent frame, a ton of Bondo and a thick layer of red paint. It took five years but made it through the feared German tech inspection first try. It was cold

Unfinished message got sent...day but I think heated seats swung the deal. In any case I've enjoyed the car since and after ironing out the bugs have driven about 11,000 kms nearly trouble free. One day I'll ask my wife to post a pic of it on this site...The TR3 according to build records was Winchester blue. Also bought on-line...some people live and learn, I guess I just live...actually is pretty much as described by owner. With it I got an extra trans (od), extra carbs and other exciting junk. Think I've got everything I need to work for about a year without investing

Have to check build sheet, think it was Medici blue.
