“Macau/ Kastner Tribute”
This car is under total restoration and modification. It is a father/son build that started after meeting Kas Kastner at Road Atlanta and deciding to build an American version of the Macau Spit. We will convert it to the LeMans Spitfire body but with LHD and a passenger seat when not covered with the tonneau cover. WE are also replacing the original power train with the inline six and triple carbs. No build budget so it will be a slow process, but the experience is well worth it. Lots of support from Ronnie Babbit, a real Triumph guru and a few others in the local British car club.

Update: car is complete and with the help of great friends we were able to present it to Kas Kastner on May 15 2015 as a tribute to his efforts in the Triumph world.

Nice project.Where was the 4th photo taken? I see Jeff Kelly's TR2 in the background. Jeff says that's a correct color and it's called Ice Blue.

Thanks, the photo was taken this May at Summit Point Raceway in WV during the 2015 Kastner Cup race. We brought the car for an unveil with Kas as a Tribute build to him and the Macau. Had a great time that day with Jeff and his wife. Beautiful TR2.
