This is weird, I was thinking to day about putting a S2000 engine and tranny into my 74.
How does your run? Get up and go wise and fuel economy wise? What type of suspension
work did you do? I am not exactly sure how to send a message so I am writing to you this
via comment.

Cool! A striking resemblance to the James Coburn Ferrari 250GT California Spider which sold for over $10M a couple years ago. Different designers (Michelotti for the Spit, Pininfarina for the Cal Spider) but same vintage as well as same color, headlight covers, grill, and rear fender kick-up. Ironically, I bet the Spitfire with Honda S2000 power would run rings around the Ferrari! I can't insert a picture in this comment, but here is a URL to one from the same angle http://image.motortrend.com/f/12181038+w569+h356+ar1/112_0901_01l+1961_ferrari_250_GT_spyder_california+front_three_quarters_view.jpg

Rather an excellent and rather significant conversion, the very last Triumph was a rebadged
Honda.
Oh what could have been!
