1974 French Blue Triumph Spitfire 1500. This car underwent a thorough restoration with many high performance modifications. It has the original 1500cc engine and currently comes equipped with Quad Keihin CR racing motorcycle carburetors mounted on custom manifolds. It has a stainless steel header with a Monza Quad Tip exhaust, custom-designed America cross-flow aluminum radiator and Moss Motors high capacity oil cooler. The engine was rebuilt with a modest race cam, bigger valves, ported and polished head and flat top pistons with 10.3:1 compression. Ignition is electronic. The car is equipped with a rebuilt, single rail four-speed transmission and electronic overdrive. The wheels are 14" aluminum MiniLite replicas with 185/65-14 General Altimax radials. Front disc brakes utilize drilled/slotted rotors with braided stainless steel brake lines. Front springs are slightly lowered while KYB shocks and Monroe air-adjustable shocks handle dampening duties. All the suspension components are upgraded with synthetic bushings. New drive shaft and U-joints. The rear end was inspected and found to be in great shape. New gas tank, fuel sender and electric fuel pump are installed along with an emergency shut off switch in case of collision.

Interior has been completely dynamatted and sound-proofed including the roof of the hardtop. New carpets, custom floor mats, custom center console includes a cup holder, storage compartment and two 12-volt jacks built in. The dashboard is finished in burled walnut and seat covers, cushions and carpet were installed new. The hardtop is restored with new glass, seals, paint and white headliner. The rebuilt tach is electronic including the speedo. Switches are mounted in-dash for the hidden Hella running lights, windshield washer and trunk lights. Convertible soft top in new, but not currently installed. The trunk has been dynamatted with new fiberboard sections and is illuminated with LED lamps operated by a dash switch. Modern H4 halogen headlights replace the standard sealed beam units.

Great looking Spitfire, but throw that fuel filter in the trash, it will not filter the trash.
