Does anyone have any recommendations for a chrome plating outfit? I need to get my bumpers rechromed but there are no longer any platers in Indy.

Many people on these forums recommend this shop.

http://www.tricityplating.com/

I did not use them. I used Metal Bright Polishing out of Dayton, OH. Do not use them.

I just sent both my front & rear bumpers to Knox Custom Chrome in TN. As Grub Screw said check out the forum for more info, that's where i found Knox Custom Chrome there's even a price list floating around on the forum. Depending on the condition of your bumpers but mine are going to cost me $250 for the front & $275 for the rear. I'm still waiting for the return of my chrome, when i sent them out on April 1st they said they have a 4-6 wk lead time.

Good luck,
Bill

I had my TR6 bumpers rechromed by TriCity and they did a great job. It is show quality and they corrected all imperfections in the bumpers. I sent them there in two boxes used to ship golf clubs. One box on top of the other and taped very good. It cost less than $40 USPS. They also give a lifetime guarantee for their work. The cost was about $800 two years ago.

+1 on Knox Custom Chrome. They did both of mine last year, including filling in all the bolt holes on the rear. Look Great.

-they are out of vietnam but shipping is very fast and quality is apparently good
