Hello all,

So I have enough parts to assemble a ignition switch assembly except for the black plastic thing that holds the switch on the cylinder (see picture). Mine is broken. I can't seem to find where to buy one. Does anyone have a lead on a new one, old one or suitable workaround?

Also can someone help me out with what if anything goes in the space in the electric switch where the blade of the cylinder fits. As it is now the blade can turn one position before actuating the switch. Am I missing something.

Thanks,
Wes

Wes,
Will this help? from my 72 GT6. The whole thing, incl key, 15.00/shipped. I am making a custom walnut dash for my car and am using an earlier ignition switch w/o steering lock.

Looks like it might be good option. At least I have discovered what this black cup thing is for sure.
