Ordered from VB for the front hub oil seal. My 70 GT6+ doesn't have one with the metal retainer glued to the felt ring like the one shown. Must be for a Spitfire or something else?

Yes, the GT6 used the same ones as the Spitfire (I think) but I have never seen a real one for either car where the felt went all the way through the center.

Dan,
I'm not so sure the GT6 seal would match the Spitfire seal. The bearings are bigger, so it isn't unreasonable that the seal would be bigger too.
