Ok, so I've given up on putting in seats like Miata seats and have resigned myself to tacking the project of adding new foam and covers to my original seats.
I found these covers on eBay, but I'm curious if anyone here has purchased these before. The price is very attractive.

Here are my seats with the E Bay cover with Park Lane foam. The backs where too big and slipped easily over the foam I could just drop them on. Bottoms fit okay I think I added some foam on the side. The backs don't have the strip that slides in the slit in the middle of the foam. For what I paid they aren't bad but I would have bought the Park Lane covers if I already had not purchased the ebay ones. I tried to make my own foams but measured too small probably shrinkage my foam was in bad shape. I bought the foam after Brexit so it was cheaper than I previously priced. Top photo has the bottom on backward lol

Paul,

I redid my seats a few years ago. I agree with previous comments - get the 'good' stuff- foam and covers from Newton. I purchased my foam locally through Chris Hollum Imports - he gets from Newton. Chris strongly suggested I change the straps when doing this project. I'm VERY happy I did. The seats are now as strong and supportive as could hope for in a car that is over 40 years old. DON'T FORGET THE STRAPS!!!!

I went through The Roadster Factory. Newton commercial and worth every envy!

Jim, your seats look very sharp. Do you have the TRF part number for the covers handy? Their web site is not the easiest to navigate.
