74 SPITFIRE alternator mounting

This should be a easy one.
Trying to mount my alternater, and the bracket looks bent. Is that right?, and to what bolt should it go to. Am i missing a part.

There's a cast iron part (147899) that mounts to the block.

my 77 looks just like yours, it's not a flat part.the other end is held by the upper water pump housing bolt. the bracket is right beside the bolt in last picture
