I bought this unused steering rack at an estate sale of a Triumph collector, thinking that since it is short it must be for a Spitfire. Wrong. It is TOO short.
The only markings are "SRS500". It does not HAVE to be for a Triumph but this man had many, many hundreds of new and used parts, all for Triumphs.
Can anyone identify it?
Thanks.

The only thing I see for SRS500 steering is that it is Quinton Hazell product.... cant find any application info.

Might be for a Mini being that it is so short.

Thank you, everyone.
Now I'm going over to the TR3 forum to see if perhaps this same rack is used in a rack and pinion conversion.
