The Mk3 grille went through some changes. It started out with shiny faced bars and black between. Later the whole grille was black aluminum. Still later it was black plastic in the same shape.

Both the Mk1 and 2 had two grill openings like the Herald but I am not sure if there was actually two pieces or one. They were different design from one to the other as well.

Each side is 12"x6" aluminum panels. Mk1 and 2 are same size. But different design.

Herald grills are bigger but same design as MkI Spit - the MkI Spit had small squares - The MkII was horizontal bars, blk & sil similar to the MkIII - the MkIII was a one piece design horizontal bars blk & sil, blk, blk plastic
