I'm in need of a Steering column support bracket for a Right Hand Drive Mk3 Spitfire.
So if anybody is parting out a right hand drive Mk1, 2 or 3 spitfire (MK4 and 1500 are different) could they contact me.

Many thanks

Michael.

Thanks Ian,
I don't think I made myself to clear what I'm looking for, it is the actual support bracket that is welded to the body that the column mounts too.
The Triumph parts manual calls it a Steering Column Support Channel.

Sorry to be misleading and thanks for looking out for it.

Canley shows this part in their MkIV section, both a left and right drive version.
809785 BRACKET ASSEMBLY STEERING COLUMN £25.40 EACH IN STOCK .

The center dash cars used a different setup. I think this was used only on US Mk3 cars and probably the MKiv as well.

I have one, but left hand drive. Came from a center dash spit, iirc. (65 or 68...mixed year car I used/parted out)
Looks like only the angle at the top is different. You could straighten it and re-bend it if push comes to shove.

Hi Hazen,

Thanks for the reply, the LHD ones are a mirror image of the RHD so all the angles are wrong,
but as you if push comes to shove I will come back to you.

Many thanks,
Michael.

Hi Dan A,

Yes the MK4 and 1500 are different from the Mk3, I had a guy in the UK send me the MK4 one as he did not know there was a difference .

Hello Tommy,
Thank you for the offer, is it a complete car or just a body?
