Curious as to the most modified TR4 around. I've seen plenty of non stock engines. But I mean, has anyone put power steering in one? Power brakes? Power windows? Really made a modern car in an old body? Maybe just swapped an entire frame from something else?

You guys ever see "Bad Obsession Motorsports - Project Binky" on YouTube? Two guys in England are stuffing a complete Toyota Celica 4 wheel drive turbo engine/drivetrain into an original Mini. Except for some wider wheel flares, it looks like a stock mini. The videos are pretty funny, but these guys do some of the best welding/fabrication I've ever seen.

So I guess the sky's the limit.

There was a red TR4 with surrey top in Seattle Washington with I believe a full aftermarket chassis with an LS engine in it. This was at Bellevue Abfm, which would have put it around 5-7 years ago. Personally I'm not a fan of swaps like that, but who ever built it... were either an engineer or paid thru the nose. I couldn't find a pic of the engine, but the insides were as clean as the outside. Speechless would be a good word, clean execution would be another good description. It's too bad they didn't offer rides because it could have offset restoration costs. Kyle.

Thats the second time I've seen that air dam on a TR. Does anyone who know the vendor is?

I had a 4a with a power brake booster. It looked factory. I sold it and it covered the cost I paid for the car.

Wow! That's interesting. How well does all that line up along the windows and windshield frame?

The Spitfire and GT6 use the same window frame as the TR4-6 so it fits perfectly.
just have to make a custom rear 1/4 window once everything is welded.

How do you handle access to the spare tire? With disc wheels, I believe there is a US car that has the same bolt pattern, so you could use a mini-spare to have a lighter lift through the back hatch.
