I see the title is missing - depending on your state that may be a more or less complicated problem to deal with. The first question I'd have for him is whether he ever had the title - if yes, then that should be an easy fix. Otherwise in deference to George's comment - if it runs even half as good as it looks, someone out there should act on this.

It depends on which state it's titled in, and who the last registered owner is. If he was the last registered owner in either Oregon or Washington it just takes a trip to the DOL and new owner pays the money to release his interest. My guess is that's not the case. Washington has a three year registration only title system in which the registered owner can come back for the car. Complicated but not overly difficult. DOL doesn't like to deal with them though.

As to the car, why only 2 pictures? No rear plate shot, etc. it looks nice, but are they really trying to sell. Kyle.

The contact phone number is a New York number. I'd steer very clear of this one.

That's the tough part about phone numbers these days. People move around and take their numbers with them. That said, definitely buyer beware

It may be a scan but it's worth checking!

I bought mine 6 months ago for $2500. It had 48K with an additional engine an tranny, most of the interior finished and NO RUST.

So it's possible, probably no likely, but possible.

I'll second that. While I was in the Navy in Texas I had a cell phone with a NY number so my Father and Grandparents could call me from a landline without getting long distance charges.

Now it's at British Motor Care. Did he mention why the title is the way it is?

Kyle.
