I have a pair of H6 SUs from a 66 TR4a, they are in good shape, everything is working freely, they came in a box of spares that came with the car. $200.00 CAN plus shipping. Call or text 705-380-3397 or message.

You have a pair of H6 NOT HS6 carbs. Best to look at the small tag on top of the float chamber and post that as identity of the carbs in question.
These were likely on a late TR3 or early TR4.

FYI I think those are H6 SU carbs not HS6 the choke is different.

...that would be a good setup for a TR3

My apologies I took these off a TR4A that I had just bought, no tags on the top that I can read. Thanks for letting me know. Chris

I've got the same carbs/setup (original) on my 68 4a
...not from a 3 or early 4...

And are you the original owner from 1968?
TR4A's came with either the HS6 carbs (early)or Strombergs (late) according to the many authorities that I have read.

I have two TR4's. The 1962 came to me with Strombergs. The 1963 came with HS6's from a Volvo. They both now sport HS6's from a Triumph. I was able to contact the previous owner of the 1962 and he told me that he changed the H6's out for the Strombergs. My belief is that the opposite exchange happened most often as the Strombergs were new and the SU's had been around for many years. I am confident that both of my TR4's originally came with H6's.
I do not claim to be an authority.
Charley

Bump. Need gone. Good shape. They just need a bit of a clean up.
