Hi,

How rough are the red rear fenders & yellow rear fender? They look to be in good shape to me - what repair would be needed? If it's not completely rotten I'm interested. Also looking for a front right fender...

Would you be willing to ship the yellow fender? I live in Los Angeles, 90405.

Tyler,
I'm not sure what the best way to ship would be. I'll measure it and see if I can find a box.

Tyler,
I guessed the weight at about 30#. U.P.S. shipping would be $196.00. Ouch!

Try Greyhound. Usually you can do a bit better but Tyler will have to pick up at a station.

Hi John,

Thanks for getting an estimate - magically, a pair of rear fenders appeared locally and I picked them up yesterday. Sorry for having you do all that leg work - If you happen to come across a front right fender and a rear deck lid I'm still looking and will hold off my search if you do have one avail now!

Tyler,
Not a problem. Glad you found them local. Much easier that way. I've got the rear deck lid,but you run into the same problems with shipping.
John

Hey,

Nice lookin' trunk - although I'm looking for the rear deck bit - the part right above the trunk lid, as well as the extension arms. It's the piece where the gas cap goes through. It might be easier to just repair, but I figured I'd look around to avoid having to resort to bondo.

I pulled my rear deck off - I think it'd be small enough so that shipping wouldn't be too terrible. I could get it weighed at UPS/USPS, but wrapping it in bubble wrap and newspaper, I think it would be do-able, if you're willing to ship it out my way. The extension arms, I'll have to look once I pull the rear fenders off, to see how they bolt up to the car. When I install the new ones, I think I'll filler over the gaps between the deck extension and extension arms to avoid more rust forming in the future.

Hi John - looking for rear fenders, rear deck panel, and possibly doors for a '76 tr6. Do you still have any of these parts?

Thank you

Doug

Hi Doug,
I still have the rear fenders. The yellow one needs some rust repairs on the dog leg otherwise seems okay. The red ones are patched in various places and are pretty rough. I have both doors. They look to be in good shape. I'll attach some pictures later. I plan on trying to sell the tub with title, so I'd like to keep the deck intact. Let me know if you think of anything else you might want.
Thanks
John
